FAQ
Questions, answered
If yours isn’t here, call us. We’d rather talk it through than have you guess.
When should I book?
As early as you can. We start booking in late summer and the November install calendar typically fills by the first week of the month. Booking early costs you nothing and locks in your preferred install week.
Do I buy the lights, or do you?
We do. Your price covers the use of our commercial-grade lights for the season. We install them, maintain them, take them down and store them at our shop. You never buy, untangle, or store a single strand. We don’t install customer-owned lights — we can only guarantee what we supply.
When do you install and take down?
Installs run from early November through mid-December. Takedown begins January 2 and runs about three weeks. You don’t need to be home for either one — and if you want to leave them up longer, just unplug them and let us know when you’re ready.
What if a strand goes out?
Call us and we’ll come fix it. Repairs are included for the entire season at no additional charge — that’s the whole point of a professional install.
Will this damage my roof or gutters?
No. We use clips made for shingles, gutters and trim. Nothing is stapled, nailed, or screwed into your house at any point.
Do I have to be home for the install?
No, as long as we have access to the yard and to an exterior outlet. Most customers come home to a finished display. We’ll text you when we’re done so you can look it over that night.
Can I pick the colors?
Yes. Warm white, cool white, classic multicolor, or a custom combination. We’ll talk through what works with your brick, trim and landscaping during the design visit.
What about the electric bill?
Everything we install is LED and runs on a timer, typically dusk to around 11pm. For most homes the seasonal cost is a few dollars a month.
Do you do commercial properties?
Yes — storefronts, offices, churches, restaurants, apartment complexes and neighborhood entrances. We schedule around your business hours. Ask about multi-year agreements.
What areas do you cover?
The Jackson metro and surrounding Central Mississippi communities, including Brandon, Flowood, Pearl, Richland, Madison, Ridgeland, Clinton, Florence, Puckett, Morton, Forest and more. Not sure about your town? Call and ask.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry liability coverage and our crews are trained for ladder and steep-pitch work. Your homeowner’s policy never comes into it.
What happens if it rains on my install day?
We reschedule. We don’t put people on wet roofs. You’ll hear from us the same day with a new date, and you keep your place in line.
